Children get fit to boost Sport
CHILDREN took part in a host of sporting activities last week to help raise money for charity.
Chartridge School, in Cogdells Lane, Chartridge, held its Fit4Life week last week, with money raised going to Sport Relief.
Throughout the week the children had the chance to experience a variety of new sports and activities such as street dance, hockey, archery and skipping.
The school also had circuit training with Rion Pierre, the Team GB athlete.
On Friday, there was a whole school Cycle to Chartridge event, with pupils meeting in Berkeley Avenue and cycling the one mile to school.
The whole school also went on a sponsored walk during the week.
