BEACONSFIELD:

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - COMMUNITY NEWS -

People are being encouraged to come together to help tidy up the Old Town.

The Beaconsfield Society is putting together a working party on Saturday to clean up the Old Town ‘Ends’, and is on the look out for volunteers.

The group will be concentrating on the removal of illegal signs, curb side weeds and litter, as well as other general tidying up jobs.

A statement from the group said: “We are trying to cover a wide area so depending on numbers we can do more of Ends.

“Nothing has been excluded and also whilst we do have some equipment we would like people to bring an implement, a bin bag and some working gloves, just to help things along.”

Volunteers will gather at the Greyhound Enoteca Bar in Windsor End at 10am for about two hours of work, and anyone prepared to spare some time is asked to email botrainfo@gmail.com.
