CHESHAM & LEY HILL GC
THERE were Easter treats on offer as prizes rather than the usual silverware at Chesham & Ley Hill Golf Club ladies’ three-ball, better-ball team competition.
This year’s competition was won in fine style by ladies captain Philomena Lockyer’s team, which also comprised of Pauline West and Kay Day, with an impressive score of 88 points.
In second place was lady vice-captain, Chris Lewis, and her playing partners, Marilyn Carter and Rosemary Redman.
Redman also won the day’s longest drive prize, while Sandra Eland hit a stunning tee-shot to within two feet on the par-three third hole to deservedly earn the nearest the pin prize.
