PUPILS proudly showed off the Easter bonnets they created at a church’s service.

The children of Little Missenden CofE Infant School enjoyed designing and making their own Easter bonnets recently.

Then they paraded their bonnets from the school down to St John the Baptist church for their annual Easter service.

During the service the pupils paraded around the church to show off their designs to their parents, families, governors and members of the church congregation before continuing the service which included readings, hymns and prayers presented by the children.

On their return to school they all took part in an Easter egg hunt.

Head teacher Michelle Green said: “The children had a fantastic time making and showing off their Easter bonnets before performing a lovely service.

“The Easter egg hunt, run by PSALMs, our PTA, was the perfect way to end the day.”
