100% success for school’s Young Enterprise team
YOUNG enterprise company Telos won three awards at the Chiltern Area Finals of the Young Enterprise Competition, held at the Beaconsfield School on March 20.
The company, made up of boys and girls aged 1617 from Bucks, won best social media, best trade stand and finished runners up for best company. The team wrote the The 100% Book, an advice book for teenagers, and during the day had to promote the company and product to a panel of judges.
In attendance was Mimi Harker, chairman of Chiltern District Council, who offered to help Telos hold an official book launch in the future.
Presentations were held in the afternoon and guest speaker Ian Rowe gave a speech based on his anecdotes about his attempt to break the world record for rowing the Atlantic in 30 days.
Telos will be advancing to the next stages of the Young Enterprise Competition, in Aylesbury on May 6.
