RAINBOWS and Brownies in Beaconsfield took part in a day of cooking, crafts, games and activities.

The youngsters, aged between five and 10, went along to the Guide HQ, in Malthouse Square, on Tuesday April 5 for the Wooly Sheep Day.

The event involved a number of sheep-themed tasks, with youngsters making Cheerio sheep for a morning snack, and then lamb burgers for lunch, with different sheep cheeses

The crafts included making a sheep collage, sheep decorations and model animals.

In the afternoon, the youngsters enjoyed a farmyard sing-song.

District commissioner Hilary Zayed said: “We all had lots of fun and the day was organised to fundraise for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the Guide HQ.”

Crafty: Beaconsfield brownies enjoying the day.
