GRAND VISIT FOR RESIDENTS
RESIDENTS at Chalfont Lodge had a fun day horsing around recently.
To celebrate the Grand National staff member and local villager Karen Salisbury brought two of her horses in to meet and greet our residents.
Tammy is a 17.2 hands mare who loved the attention of the residents stroking her nose while Izzy is a Shetland pony who spent the majority of the time being ridden by three-year-old Scarlet, the granddaughter of resident Trevor Andrew.
Izzy was a perfect height for Scarlet and even walked her to the car to leave.
For those residents who were unable to get outside Ms Salisbury walked the horses around the perimeter stopping at people’s windows so they could get a glimpse of the majestic animals. The horses were a huge talking point and got the residents
