TOWN HAS A FIFTH B IN ITS BON­NET

A NEW exhibition has opened at Che­sham Mu­seum.

The exhibition, en­ti­tled Che­sham’s Bricks – The Fifth B, opened at the mu­seum in Mar­ket Square on Satur­day.

The exhibition was of­fi­cially opened at a pri­vate event on Fri­day evening by Jim Matthews, from HG Matthews in Belling­don, which has been mak­ing bricks since 1923. Che­sham is well-known for its four Bs – boots, beer, brushes and Bap­tists.

How­ever, Che­sham Mu­seum be­lieves bricks is also an im­por­tant part of Che­sham’s heritage.

The exhibition runs un­til June 4.
