La­hore Tigers give a knock­out per­for­mance

Man of the match Saad Ab­d­ual Raqeeb scored 13 runs and took two wick­ets.

And so it was down to La­hore and Big Bite to de­cide the group, and the Tigers avenged their frus­tra­tion at miss­ing out on the league ti­tle to the Che­sham side by smashing 122 runs past them.

Man of the match Nau­man As­lam bagged 84 of them, as well as tak­ing two wick­ets, while Big Bite’s re­ply came up a woe­ful 84 runs short, seal­ing La­hore’s place in the fi­nal.

Over in Group B, which con­tained a num­ber of sec­ond teams, Big Bite 2s also took a ham­mer­ing, go­ing down by 112 runs to Kash­miri Pan­thers, as man of the match Ah­san Maq­bool notched 12 runs and two wick­ets.

Big Bite 2s were also beaten by La­hore Tigers 2s, 30 runs sep­a­rat­ing the sides, with man of the match Asim Ditta bag­ging five runs and three wick­ets, mean­ing the group win­ners and sec­ond fi­nal­ists would be de­cided by the fi­nal game.

There, Kash­miri won a high-scor­ing game by 23 runs, man of the match Dr Rauhan set­ting the pulses rac­ing with his 25 runs.

And so the stage was set for Ze­shaan Butt, whose 17 runs and two wick­ets helped de­cide a one-sided fi­nal in favour of La­hore Tigers,s, who thrashed Kash­mirii Pan­thers by 94 runs to take thee tro­phy.
