Pro­lific Pi­o­neer pick up more sil­ver­ware

RAM­PANT Pi­o­neer landed their sec­ond cup in as many weeks when they beat FC D&B 3-1 in the Che­sham Char­ity Cup fi­nal on Sun­day.

Goals from JP Jamil, Andy Win­ton plus an own goal en­sured more sil­ver­ware fol­low­ing last week’s Che­sham Sun­day League Cup win, with the Premier Divi­sion ti­tle still to play for too.

Over in the Allan Moore Cup, four goals from Ge­orge King, plus fur­ther strikes from Neil Hy­rons and Dale Lee, saw Old Bel­mont Pugilists booked a semi-fi­nal spot with a 6-0 win at Misty Moon.

Mag­pies 91 Re­serves were also hit for six by Chal­font Saints, who bounced back from their League Cup fi­nal de­feat to make the Allan Moore semis thanks to Dave Shep­pard’s dou­ble and other goals from Lewis Cum­ber, Con­nor Cum­ber, Frank Turner and Nick Marchant, while Mar­cus Furneaux- Har­ris and Dean Franklin replied for Mags.

But the Mag­pies’ first team are through af­ter knock­ing out Di­namo Che­quers 5-0, Miles Bax­ter bag­ging a brace while Rhys Blaken, Chris Percy and Craig Dias also net­ted.

The only league game saw two goals from David Goss, plus one each from Peter Jones and Oliver Buck­ing­ham, help Queens Head edge past Che­sham Ath­letic (Black Cat), for whom Jack Grant, Ja­son Dun­can and Andy Caves replied, 4-3.
