Syn­a­gogue ex­pe­ri­ence

CHIL­DREN went on a school visit to a Syn­a­gogue re­cently to learn more about Ju­daism.

As part of their learn­ing about dif­fer­ent re­li­gions, year one and two classes from Lit­tle Mis­senden Cofe In­fant School re­cently vis­ited the Syn­a­gogue in Wat­ford.

There they met Rabbi Levine who told them all about how the Jewish peo­ple wor­ship.

The Rabbi showed them the scrolls which con­tain the To­rah, the Jewish bi­ble.

Juliet Stromme, from the school, said: “It was a won­der­ful ex­pe­ri­ence for staff and chil­dren alike. The chil­dren thor­oughly en­joyed look­ing at the scrolls and shar­ing what they had learnt at school with Rabbi Levine.”
