A NEW service for small businesses has opened in Amersham.

Local businesswoman Mari McLoughlin has launched TaxAssist Accountants in the town, offering a dedicated service to support small businesses in Amersham.

After spending many years working in investment banking and for a large international law firm, chartered accountant Ms McLoughlin decided it was time to work for herself and use her experience to benefit small businesses in and around Amersham.

Since opening TaxAssist Accountants in Chalfont Road, Ms McLoughlin has taken on one full-time and one part-time staff member and is already planning to open a second shop front office in Rickmansworth.

She said: “After years of working for others, I decided now was the time to work for myself and saw this as a great opportunity to start my own accountancy practice.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting local small businesses in the area.”

TaxAssist Accountants, which will specialise in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings and tax advice to small businesses, will be looking to invite local businesses to an official opening in May.
