Harriers’ teenagers make great start to their league
1200m, while Lily Holt finished second in both the A string high jump and 75m hurdles for the U15 girls.
Nathan Hackley stormed into the national top ten for the U13 boys 800m with a great run of 2.21.92 mins, while Cormac Nisbet and Zach Rahaman were second in A and B string 1500m respectively.
The highlight for the U15 boys was an 800m double for Cameron Reid and Thomas Job, while Sam TurnerO’toole had a great debut with second in the A string 80m hurdles and shot, and third in the long jump.
The 4x300m quartet of Reid, Harry Russell, Alex Aldred and Alex Burn then brought the meeting to a satisfying close, storming to victory in a great time of 2.54.92. The next match is at Bedford on May 21.
