TIME FOR HUNT TO GET BACK TO NEGOTIATIONS

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

DOLORES CLARK Waterside Stag Lane

I AM horrified that the junior doctors are going to strike. I can certainly understand it but for Jeremy Hunt to let it get this far is unacceptable.

As it is we have lost the A&E in Wycombe and have to travel further for emergency treatment. However, if you have a long awaited appointment during this time you will lose it and have to wait until another time is available – how long will that be? Two? Three months? This in itself could be life threatening. Those in pain now which could be relieved having to wait longer to be seen. Would Mr Hunt like to see those he loved in this predicament?

Jeremy Hunt should get back to the negotiating table and sort this out asap.
