Peo­ple are be­ing in­vited to put on their boo­gie shoes and head to a ‘70s party to help sup­port a char­ity.

The event is set to be held at Dave­nies School and guests are in­vited to don fancy dress to get into the fun of the evening.

Peo­ple will be able to make mu­sic re­quests of the DJ, and treats for the evening will in­clude cheese and pineap­ple on cock­tail sticks, coq au vin and bot­tles of Ger­man hock, to re­flect the era.

The or­gan­is­ers hope the party will raise money to go to­wards the run­ning costs of the Wy­combe Home­less Con­nec­tion, which has just ended its ninth night shel­ter sea­son.

The party will take place on Satur­day, May 21 and tick­ets are priced at £25 per per­son, with ta­bles sit­ting eight to 10 peo­ple.
