CROWN BEER FEST
REVELLERS enjoyed beer, food and live music at a pub’s festival at the weekend.
The Crown, in Ley Hill, held its annual May Beer Festival on Sunday (May 1) and Monday (May 2).
The festival featured more than 30 beers and ciders from local and national breweries.
There was also a barbecue on both days as well as live music outside, with Whinlatter and Lama Canyon performing on Sunday and Robin Bibi Duo and the Cherry Valentines performing on Monday.
The pub’s next festival is the annual Ley Hill Beer and Music festival, run in partnership with neighbouring pub The Swan, over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
