No short­age of stand-up as kids join the show

Beau­ti­ful Ma­bel is a medium sized cros­bred puppy about seven to eight months old. Af­ter a dif­fi­cult start to life, Ma­bel is mak­ing amaz­ing progress at the Res­cue Cen­tre.

She has a lovely na­ture, but is still anx­ious, she would be best suited to an ex­pe­ri­enced owner, per­haps with an­other dog, who can con­tinue to build her con­fi­dence. Amer­sham, and fea­tured stars of ra­dio and TV, such as Zoe Lyons.

Land­lord of the pub, Richard Ed­wards, has man­aged to build a big com­edy rep­u­ta­tion for the boozer and de­cided to cel­e­brate his 40th birth­day year with a mas­sive three-day long cel­e­bra­tion.

He said: “It was amaz­ing week­end of com­edy, ev­ery sin­gle per­son that came re­ally, re­ally en­joyed them­selves and I am not ex­ag­ger­at­ing when I say I doubt there would have been a bet­ter or stronger com­edy show any­where in the UK on Satur­day night than the one I put on here.”

A kids’ work­shop and kids’ com­edy show went well, and Mr Ed­wards has hailed his first fes­ti­val as ‘amaz­ing’.
