Teacher joins team
A NEW teacher has joined the team at the Gerrards Cross based Little Language Academy.
Sarah Noori, from Chalfont St Giles, is helping the childrens’ language school expand as it moves into new areas.
Sarah moved to the area from Paris a year ago, where she was working as a childminder to several French children as well as working in the French fashion industry.
She is a fluent French speaker and has a young son who attends French classes at the academy.
Owner of the LLA Debbie Lomax said: “I am delighted to have Sarah on board and she is a natural with the children.
“We now have three teachers working across a wide range of nurseries and schools in the area, as well as our weekly classes at The Memorial Centre in Gerrards Cross”.
Sarah said: “I am incredibly excited to be teaching French in what is such a rewarding and fun job.
“It’s wonderful to see young children so keen to learn a new language and do it in such a fun and relaxed learning environment.”
Pupils in years one and two can also now take part in the lessons, which are to be held at the Chalfont St Giles Infant School.
Run by the Little Language Academy (LLA), it offers children the opportunity to learn using fun games and activities, as well as songs, stories and music.
Mrs Lomax said: “We are delighted to have been asked to set up a French club at the school.
“We had great fun this week learning bonjour and au revoir songs, counting in French and singing songs.
“The children joined in well and enjoyed all of our resources and props that we use to bring our classes alive.”
