Girls show moments of magic as Harriers finish second

A depleted U13 boys side did not taste as much success, but Nathan Hackley won the A string 1500m in a great time of 4.51.06 and was second in A string javelin, while William Mayhew was third in A string long jump, and B string 200m and shot. Third was also where Ben Jackson finished in the A string shot.
Millie Hughes had a great day in the throws for the U15 girls, placing second in both the A string hammer and B string discus, while Olivia Scarles threw a PB of 25.09m to also come second in the A string javelin.
Soraya Lockwood added a further second place in the B string high jump, while Emily Alderson came third in the B string 1500m.
Chiltern’s middle distance U15 boys were in good form, with a double win in the 800m, Angus Williams setting a new PB in the A string with 2.11.07 and Alex Aldred winning the B string.
Tommy Davies got a PB of 4.37.33 to come second in the A string 1500m, while Thomas Job won the B string, also in a PB of 4.40.69. The next match is at Little Marlow on June 19.
