Girls show mo­ments of magic as Har­ri­ers fin­ish sec­ond

A de­pleted U13 boys side did not taste as much suc­cess, but Nathan Hack­ley won the A string 1500m in a great time of 4.51.06 and was sec­ond in A string javelin, while Wil­liam May­hew was third in A string long jump, and B string 200m and shot. Third was also where Ben Jackson fin­ished in the A string shot.

Mil­lie Hughes had a great day in the throws for the U15 girls, plac­ing sec­ond in both the A string ham­mer and B string dis­cus, while Olivia Scar­les threw a PB of 25.09m to also come sec­ond in the A string javelin.

So­raya Lock­wood added a fur­ther sec­ond place in the B string high jump, while Emily Alder­son came third in the B string 1500m.

Chiltern’s mid­dle dis­tance U15 boys were in good form, with a dou­ble win in the 800m, An­gus Wil­liams set­ting a new PB in the A string with 2.11.07 and Alex Al­dred win­ning the B string.

Tommy Davies got a PB of 4.37.33 to come sec­ond in the A string 1500m, while Thomas Job won the B string, also in a PB of 4.40.69. The next match is at Lit­tle Mar­low on June 19.
