Fraser’s double ensures United ladies’ season ends on a high

But once Chesham got into their stride, Chantelle O’Grady found Katie Squire, who skipped around the Solent keeper to stroke home and give her side the lead against the run of play.
Chesham tried to soak up possession and catch Solent on the break, but were caught out when their opponents nicked the ball on the left and swung in a great cross which was fired home for the equaliser.
On came Tash Smith to gi give more width, with Fras Fraser moving into the cent centre and within five the changes hit the spot as Anna Imrie found Squ Squire, who outpaced Sole Solent’s left-back and wh whipped in an inchper perfect cross for Fraser to h head Chesham back in f front.
A As Chesham gra gradually got on top aft after the break, So Solent’s frustration sta started to show, gi giving away a free ki kick which dead ball sp specialist Laura Barton curled in perfectly for captain Dawne Campbell to nod home.
With teenager Livvi Harris helping tighten things up at the back and Paula Lambert linking up superbly with Imrie, Solent were running out of ideas, and Sarah Hazel slid in player of the match Fraser to round the keeper and slot home her second and Chesham’s fourth.
Solent pulled back a consolation late on to make it 4-1, but the day belonged to Chesham. The squad was Masella, Campbell, Imrie, Tyas, Barton, Gladwin, Smith, Lambert, Hazel, O’Grady, Harris, Squire, Fraser, Williams, Burns and Killey.
The previous day, Chesham’s U13s won the Bucks Girls League Cup against a previously unbeaten MK City side, thanks to goals from Hannah Warren and Amelie Baker.
The squad was Ashton, Muncie, Howatt, Hargreaves, King, Warren, Baker, Laine, Chowdhry, Shah, Woods, Adams and Bayles.
