Otters celebrate best regionals medal haul
triumph in the 200m butterfly.
Lee went on to take silver in the 100m butterfly with 1:12.26, as did Lucas in the 400m freestyle with 4:55.35, while a final silver went to the boys 4x50m freestyle relay team, with McClenn, Jack Eden, Sam Clark and Max McGarvie clocking a combined 1:51.34.
Last, but by no means least, Ross McGarvie completed the haul with a bronze medal in the 1500m freestyle.
Head coach Agnes George said: “The club continues to go from strength to strength. As well as the medal winners, we had another 11 finalists.
“If you want to have fun, train hard and be part of our club’s fantastic progress, come and join us.”
The Otters showed that they are no slouches on dry land either after following their superb performances in the ASAs with further success at the Gerrards Cross Fun Run.
Ross McGarvie claimed first place in the individual competition and another three Otters finished in the top 10, while the parents got in the act too, helping one of the Otters team entries to victory in the team competition.
