THE case for a Remain vote is overwhelming.

For me it comes down to Peace, Prosperity and People.

Bringing Europe close has taken away the causes of conflict between us and our neighbours.

We have had the longest ever peace in Europe. How many millions of lives has this saved.

Some 500 million people living in peace with democracy and freedom. Why would we want to weaken or undermine that?

Peace makes prosperity possible. Three million British jobs are linked to use being in Europe. Leaving would put access to the Single Market and many of those jobs at risk.

Every single reputable economic body at home and internationally says we are better off in Europe.

As people of a country in Europe we enjoy shared problems being solved. Look how much cleaner our beaches, seas and air are thanks to action across Europe. There is more to do on this. I work in the criminal justice system.

Everyday, I see the benefits of us being in as suspects are brought back to our courts. Evidence and information is shared.

The Leave campaign has admitted their ‘£350 million’ is bogus.

The net cost works out at 26p per day, per person.

If being in gives one of my neighbours a job, brings one business here, or shortens a conflict anywhere in the world my 26p is very well spent.

For our young people and future generations I hope we vote to Remain in Europe.
