Vil­lage’s ‘fan­tas­tic’ sum­mer fete no washout with vis­i­tors

HUN­DREDS braved the wet weather and went along to the Che­sham Bois Sum­mer Fete at the week­end.

The event took place on Satur­day af­ter­noon and in­cluded a va­ri­ety of stalls, food and drink and a dis­play of clas­sic cars.

En­ter­tain­ment in­cluded danc­ing, a Judo dis­play and mu­sic from the Vale Sym­phonic Wind Orches­tra.

A fly­past from the RAF, on their way back from Lon­don’s Troop­ing The Colour event, ‘thrilled ev­ery­one’.

The event has been called a ‘ great suc­cess’ by or­gan­is­ers.

Parish coun­cil­lor Daniel Buck­ing­ham said: “Che­sham Bois Parish Coun­cil would like to thank ev­ery­one who helped make it such a fan­tas­tic event.”
