Sign up to a colourful new way to raise funds
A HOSPICE has launched its brand new colourful fundraiser.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care will combine the most popular elements of its previous events, coloured powder paint and obstacles in Colour Blast: The Scramble.
The 5km obstacle course will see participants take on more than 20 obstacles and run through five colour stations.
Due to the nature of the event, Colour Blast: The Scramble is open to over 12s and is a perfect team building exercise for colleagues or a great day out with a difference for friends.
Rennie Grove is also offering Colour Blast – a 1km colour run with three colour stations but without the obstacles, which is open to all ages.
Director of fundraising and marketing at Rennie Grove Hospice Care Gillian Barnett said: “Participants will be showered with coloured powder, which is non-toxic, corn starch based and perfectly safe, so it’s an ideal event for everyone to enjoy.
“It isn’t a timed race but a fun and amazingly colourful way to raise funds and support a charity on your doorstep.”
The event takes place at Penn House Estate, in Amersham, on Sunday, September 25.
Online registration is now open with a limited number of early bird places at a reduced price, with under fours going free.
All participants will receive a T-shirt, a medal, and snacks and water at the finish, which will be covered by the entry fee.
Those taking part are encouraged to raise sponsorship for Rennie Grove Hospice Care, which supports local patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families by providing a range of services, including a 24 hour responsive Hospice at Home service.
