DENHAM Village Infant School held its annual Summer Fete to celebrate the Queen’s birthday this year.

Starting with a street party for Her Majesty’s 90th, the tiny school for 40 pupils located in the heart of Denham Village partied with some special guests to surprise the pupils.

PTA Secretary Susie Weller said: “We had a fantastic programme that included entertainment from Chalfont Line Dancing group and Denham Village Ballet School, and activities such as a bouncy castle, face painting and tattoos, a wide variety of familyoriented games, competitions and stalls, a craft activity area, BBQ and cake sale. We are a new PTA and we have been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from the local community.

“Businesses have been incredibly generous and we had some fabulous prizes for the raffle and auction including a round of golf for four people at Buckinghamshire Golf Club, family day passes for attractions such as Odds and Willows Farms and many more.”
