Wa­ter great way to send an im­por­tant mes­sage

SCHOOL chil­dren have been cam­paign­ing in the com­mu­nity to raise aware­ness about wa­ter wastage.

Year four pupils at Thomas Hard­ing School, in Fullers Hill, Che­sham, have been busy work­ing on a Go Givers – Make a Dif­fer­ence Chal­lenge, where pupils have been work­ing hard to make a dif­fer­ence in their com­mu­nity to raise aware­ness about wa­ter wastage. The year four classes chose thee topic and have com­pleted many ac­tiv­i­ties such sur­veys in school and analysing data, cre­at­ing posters and leaflets and cam­paign­ing in the town cen­tre.

Last Thurs­day the class held a whole school as­sem­bly to raise aware­ness on the topic.

Some of the pupils chil­dren will be picked to go to a Go Givers con­fer­ence at a later date and present the class’ jour­ney to a board of as­ses­sors.
