Triathlon debutants here fight it out at junior event
time of 17.47. The last race of the day, 15-16, was won by Oliver Jackson in 16.00 and Amber Restall in 17.32.
There were also team prizes in each age group, with the Golden Girls (1112) retaining their title for the third year in a row. The other team winners were Ashford Aces (eight year old boys), Heatherton Hares (eight year old girls), JBN (9-10 boys) and Give it a Go (11-12 boys).
Medals were presented to all finishers by David Unwin and Peter Squire both of the Chesham Rotary Club.
Cllr Mimi Harker, Chairman of Chiltern District Council, was on hand to present the prizes to the first, second and third finisher in all races.
Race director Steve Field said: “It was great to explain at the first four races that the event started before they were born and that maybe this was the start of their Olympic career.”
