ANGELA’S WARM WELCOME
TELEVISION presenter Angela Rippon meets resident Harriet Davidson at the opening of Woodland Manor Care Home, Chalfont St Peter
TV FAVOURITE Angela Rippon was given a warm welcome as she officially opened Porthaven’s Woodland Manor in Chalfont St Peter.
Ms Rippon spoke to a packed room of residents and invited guests about the BBC’s lively and informative How To Stay Young, her career and the importance of ensuring those we love are looked after well as life changes in older age, followed by a lunch prepared by Porthaven chefs.
Ms Rippon, is as Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador and is a regular speaker att Porthaven events as her vivacity and positivity is always extremely popular.
Every bedroom has a fully private wetroom and throughout the care home there is a hair salon, coffee shop and a variety of dining areas, including a private dining area for family celebrations.
There are also lovely landscaped gardens and other outside areas for residents, plus a private cinema.
