TWO BEACONSFIELD mums are delighted to be launching a brand new website for their growing business.

Author and ex-teacher Ashley Mowat, 42, and Laurie Morgan, marketing consultant, own Ooh La Label, an enterprise aimed at busy parents who do not have time to sew school labels on to their childrens’ clothes.

The business was started around four years ago by the pair and has grown ‘organically’ since then, according to mum of three – and soon to be four – Ms Mowat.

The ex-Maltman’s Green teacher said: “We’re really excited – we’ve been working on it for a good six months to a year.”

She added: “We just have so many more options. There’s just lots of more fun stuff, so we’re really expanding.”

Ooh La Label – the name chosen because it sounded quirky – makes labels designed to stick onto clothes with the minimum of fuss.

There is no sewing involved and they are said to be waterproof, with the website launch enabling the duo to launch the ‘Selfie Label’, where prospective buyers can customise their own designs online, which Ms Mowat said makes things ‘easier’ for people than it was before.
