A FAIR WAY TO CELEBRATE
Butler’s Court fun day marks it’s 50th anniversary
A SCHOOL celebrated its 50th anniversary at the weekend by hosting a special fair.
Butlers Court School in Wattleton Road, Beaconsfield, held its 50th Anniversary Summer Fair on Saturday (July 9).
The event featured a host of activities including bouncy castles, games, barbecue, bar, café, ice cream, lucky dip bags, second hand books, external stalls and police and fire crews.
There was also a selection of dances and routines performed by all the year groups in the main arena that covered the last five decades and was compered by the school’s own Mark Jones. The event also had an Alumni Room where all the memorabilia and photos collected from the last 50 years were on display.
All of the archive material collected, as well as current curriculum work to celebrate the anniversary, and photos and videos of the recent alumni class visits and assemblies were available to look at and much has been included in a special 50th anniversary booklet that the school has published.
The booklet has been produced by the Alumni Team to celebrate the many achievements and successes of the school and was on sale for all to buy on the day.
