PET PROJECT FOR BROWNIES
THE first Chalfont St Giles Brownies knocked their charity event out of the park raising more than £200.
The girls played a charity cricket match with their dads to raise £185 for Pets As Therapy and £46 for the Wildlife Trust.
All term the Brownies have worked hard on their friends to animals badge, which included a sleepover in the Bug House in London Zoo.
They thoroughly enjoyed meeting Doug the Pug and owner Cate, and all received a signed copy of Doug the Pug’s book.
Ramni Kortman-Bedi 1st Chalfont St Giles Brown Owl said: “It has been a fun packed term for the girls and I am so proud of how much they managed to raise. I wish them all a happy, relaxing and safe summer.”
