THE first Chal­font St Giles Brown­ies knocked their char­ity event out of the park rais­ing more than £200.

The girls played a char­ity cricket match with their dads to raise £185 for Pets As Ther­apy and £46 for the Wildlife Trust.

All term the Brown­ies have worked hard on their friends to an­i­mals badge, which in­cluded a sleep­over in the Bug House in London Zoo.

They thor­oughly en­joyed meet­ing Doug the Pug and owner Cate, and all re­ceived a signed copy of Doug the Pug’s book.

Ramni Kort­man-Bedi 1st Chal­font St Giles Brown Owl said: “It has been a fun packed term for the girls and I am so proud of how much they man­aged to raise. I wish them all a happy, re­lax­ing and safe sum­mer.”
