TIGERS COMMIT CARDINAL SIN
LAHORE Tigers now have to rely on results elsewhere to have any chance of lifting the South East Sunday Cricket League Division Four title.
The Chesham side, making their debut season in the league, were knocked off the top of the table after losing to their closest rivals, Slough Baylis 2nds.
In a game billed as a potential title decider, Tigers committed the cardinal sin and did not manage to bat through their full allocation of overs.
They were bowled out for 181 in 30 overs, with 10 overs still to go, with a knock of 41 by Nabeel Ahmed their highest score.
Tanvir Butt then took 3-28 from his seven overs, but it proved to be in vain as Slough passed their targets with five wickets still in hand.
Tigers are still mathematically in the race but now need another team to beat Slough while not losing another game themselves.
