Celebrating 50 years of legal advice
AN OLYMPIC gold medal winner was among the guests at a 50th birthday party recently.
More than 200 people were at Hedsor House, Taplow, on Thursday July 7 as they celebrated Gerrards Cross based law firm B P Collins’ anniversary, and among them were Adrian Moorhouse and founder Brian Collins.
Brian Collins, BP Collins’ founder, said: “For the past 50 years B P Collins has been providing high quality legal advice to individuals and businesses alike.
“The firm’s corporate department was voted the best provincial corporate department in the country in 2015.
“The firm has over 50 lawyers based in Gerrards Cross, each one of whom is a specialist in his or her own field.
“In addition, B P Collins is a great supporter of charities and other organisations in the Thames Valley area.”
Ian Hopkins, chief executive, said: “The UK has changed dramatically over the past 50 years and B P Collins has been advising clients every step of the way – not least in 1973 when the UK joined the EU.
“And now, as we embark on our departure B P Collins will undoubtedly provide the same level of advice and reassurance that our clients need, to help them navigate their personal and business matters through these unprecedented times.”
A sculpture, Companions on the Road, was specially commissioned through Carina Haslam’s gallery in Great Missenden.
Created by Alain Kurylo and made from sustainable materials to reflect the theme of the firm’s anniversary – Made to Last – it will be on display in B P Collins’ office but will also be available to community groups for exhibitions.
Guests were entertained on the evening with live music from The Revue and dancers Swing Patrol.
They were also served bespoke ‘B P Collins’ cocktails, which had been created especially for the evening.
