Ross Richardson and Nilesh Odedra also chipped in with useful knocks of 36 and 26 respectively as Beaconsfield reached their target in the 46th over for the loss of five wickets.

They are yet to win this season, but Chenies did come close to getting the monkey off their backs on Saturday, losing by just one wicket to promotionchasing North Maidenhead.

Skipper Chris May was unbeaten on 72 as Chenies made a challenging 239-8 off 52 overs. Scott Norwood then took 4-75 as Chenies took nine North Maidenhead scalps, but it was not enough.
