THANK GOODNESS FOR LEVEL-HEADEDNESS

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION - ROBERT KENDALL Moreland Drive Gerrards Cross

CONGRATULATIONS to Derek Hill (letters August 11) and his call for Brexit voters to accept they had won and stop writing letters.

Mr Meacher’s previous letter seemed to suggest that all that was needed was a few simple steps and with one bound we would be into a new world outside the EU.

He also wants EU countries to agree bilateral deals with the UK when we are no longer in the EU.

Previously UKIP has told us that trade deals by EU members could not be done in such a way.

Thank goodness for a level headed government who are now addressing the practical effects of Brexit and how to go about changing things.
