Shots fired out­side home in Che­sham

A GUN has been fired three times at a house in Che­sham in a ‘fright­en­ing and dis­tress­ing’ at­tack, po­lice say.

Thames Val­ley Po­lice of­fi­cers were called to a house on Dean­sway at 11.30pm on Satur­day (Au­gust 20) at 11.30pm af­ter a man who was not known to the peo­ple in­side the house knocked at the door and fired shots.

No one was in­jured and the of­fender then left.

The sus­pect is de­scribed as black, 6ft with a slim face and wear­ing a black hooded top.

Po­lice are now ap­peal­ing for any in­for­ma­tion.

In­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cer, Det Insp Joe Ban­field from Ayles­bury po­lice sta­tion, said: “I would like to hear from any­one who may have seen or heard any­thing in the area Dean­sway last night.

“This was very fright­en­ing and dis­tress­ing for the vic­tim and po­lice are of­fer­ing sup­port to him and his fam­ily.

“We believe this to be an iso­lated oc­cur­rence but any­one with con­cerns should con­tact their lo­cal neigh­bour­hood po­lice team or call 101.”
