Driving ambition to raise funds
Around 200 vehicles on show at 9th Classics event
The ninth annual Ley Hill Classics on the Common event saw some 200 classic vehicles turn-up, from vintage Bentleys and Rolls Royces through Ferraris and motorbikes and on to much more modern day machinery. Ley Hill School’s Parent Teacher Association put on a barbecue at the event and members from the church rustled-up some delicious cream teas. The Cricket Club bar was open and a replica steam traction engine provided rides for children. The event was free but there was a bucket collection in support of local charities.
