Is this the best pub crawl ever?
...it looks like a great way to travel.
TAKE a look at these fantastic photos of the 10th Beaconsfield Country Fayre.
Huge crowds took to the streets on Monday to watch runners take part in the annual stretcher race.
The race saw teams of four people carrying a fifth person on a stretcher as they ran around a gruelling course of eight pubs, stopping at each for a half pint.
Among the many fantastic fancy dress displays were Mary Berry, Romans and medieval warriors, and children took part in a youngsters’ race.
Sylvia Jones, co-chair of the country fayre, said: “The support we have received from local businesses is really fantastic and because of their kind generosity, we are able to continue to have a free event for the community to enjoy and raise thousands of pounds for local charities.”
Over the last 10 years the fayre has raised more than £100,000. Simon Woolf, one of the event’s organisers, said there were ‘ huge numbers’ of people at the fayre.
He said: “A lot of people said it was a record turn out - it was mobbed. It was really nice, everyone enjoyed themselves - it was a lovely atmosphere. People were coming up to us and say thank you. “A big thank you to everyone that helped out. “Everyone worked really hard. It’s such a huge help to us in the community.”
He added: “It was really nice to see the community coming out in force and enjoying themselves.
“It was a brilliant day.”
Shining examples: Classic cars were also on display at the village fayre
