Developing every girl’s individual potential
BEACONSFIELD High School again celebrated outstanding results for our remarkable students – 32% of girls gained all A* grades, almost 70% gained A* and A grades and 91% achieved A*-B grades for their GCSE examinations.
These results place us as the best girls’ grammar school in Buckinghamshire. With 75% gaining A*-B and 91% gaining A*-C at A level, your daughter’s future is very safe at our school. These results are supported by exceptional pastoral care that is needed to fulfil our school purpose; to be a ‘happy, high achieving learning community, discovering and developing individual potential’. Dedicated staff work very hard to ‘see’ each girl and help them and their families build aspiration or overcome challenges that can happen. Refurbishment projects across the school are under way and with parental support, this September we are opening three new state of the art science laboratories and have new lighting and sound facilities to support the high quality Arts Faculty.
Our sport is incredibly successful with some girls playing and winning at national level.
Extracurricular provision includes international, European and local trips to support and broaden all the learning experiences.
We are proud of our academic success and the breadth of subjects available, but most of all we are proud of our girls. From Year 7 they can become involved in the running of the school and leadership opportunities abound.
Come and see what we can offer your daughter. We are offering places in Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12 from September 2017.
Celebrating: Girls at Beaconsfield High School have achieved a great set of GCSE results
