It’ll be Some enchanted evening
Sinatra fans can help raise some cash for hospice charity
WAVE goodbye to The Girl from Ipanema as the Olympic athletes have left Brazil and Dry Your Eyes because a special September Song or two will make you feel Young at Heart again.
On Saturday, September 17, Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams and spend Some Enchanted Evening at Paul Holgate’s tribute act to Frank Sinatra, raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Whether we are in for an Indian Summer or it is a case of September in The Rain and the Autumn Leaves are already turning on the trees, It Might As Well Be Spring in All Saints Church, High Wycombe when Paul – aka Ol’ Blue Eyes – takes to the stage.
It will not just be the Same Old Song And Dance, but a chance to enjoy some of Sinatra’s classics from the comfort of your seat or up on your feet.
Guests are invited to don their Baubles, Bangles and Beads and dress for the era as they enjoy the songs of the ‘40s and ‘50s The Second Time Around.
You will find It’s Easy To Remember as you find yourself thinking I’ve Heard That Song Before.
And Anything Goes as you Face The Music And Dance.
You’ll feel Too Marvellous for Words and may even end up doing Somethin’ Stupid like Dancing on the Ceiling.
It’s just You and the Night and the Music – and some tasty food and refreshments.
