Ac­cused of blow­ing up cash­point

A MAN from Chal­font St Giles has been charged with con­spir­acy to bur­gle af­ter an ATM was blown up at a petrol sta­tion in Den­ham Green.

Gary Mills, 39, of Fleet­wood Close, along with Trevor McCarthy, 42, of Barlby Road, Lad­broke Grove, West Lon­don and Ray Abra­ham, 36 of Ho­bart Drive, Hythe, Southamp­ton, ap­peared in cus­tody at Wim­ble­don Mag­is­trates’ Court on Satur­day, Septem­ber 10. They were re­manded in cus­tody to next ap­pear at Kingston Crown Court on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 7.

All three were ar­rested at around 11.30pm on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 8 at the petrol sta­tion on North Or­bital Road.

An ex­plo­sion at the cash­point caused fire­fight­ers from Gerrards Cross to race to North Or­bital Road at around 11.45pm where the crew had to iso­late the petrol pumps.
