Tasty celebrations for British Food Fortnight in Beaconsfield
FOOD lovers got their foodie fix at a farmers market in Beaconsfield.
The late summer sun drew crowds of people young and old to the Beaconsfield Farmers Market on Saturday September 24.
Held on the fourth Saturday of the month, the market coincided with British Food Fortnight (BFF), which runs from September 17 to October 2.
BFF is held in the autumn during the harvest festival and is a national celebration of British food and drink.
Soft cheese from Bath, cider from Berkshire cold pressed rapeseed oil from the Chilterns and jams, jellies and marmalades from High Wycombe were all on display and up for sale at the Windsor End market.
And it even featured a petting farm, which kept the little ones entertained.
The next market will be held on October 22.
