Scouts are on the road thanks to do­na­tion from school

THE FIRST Seer Green Scouts group has a new minibus, thanks to High March School.

The school, on Led­bor­ough Lane, has re­cently re­placed its school minibus and staff have been look­ing for a home for the old one.

Luck­ily the scout group was in need of one and the keys were handed over on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 20.

Michael Chap­ples, di­rec­tor of High March, said: “We are de­lighted to be able to help the com­mu­nity by do­nat­ing our minibus to the First Seer Green Scouts.

“We are sure they will get much use out of it.”

Adam Ni­cholls, scout leader of the 1st Seer Green Scouts grate­fully ac­cepted the do­na­tion of the minibus.

The 1st Seer Green Scouts in­cor­po­rates the Beavers, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Ex­plor­ers and Rangers cov­er­ing the age range from six to 15.

Be­cause of the do­na­tion, the First Seer Green Scouts will be able to con­cen­trate all its fundrais­ing ef­forts on re­build­ing the Scout Hut in Seer Green.
