THE men’s team at Oakland Park Golf Club have, for the first time, reached the semi-final stage of the Chiltern Breakfast League emerging as runners up in Division B.
To reach the semis, they secured an emphatic 6-0 victory against Chesfield Downs, and so ended the season just one point behind league winners Waterstock.

ERICA Broadment won the Jac’s Putting Trophy at Wexham Park Golf Club with a total of 26 putts, while Pam Tibballs was second with 29 and Abi Morgan third with 31.

SIMON Martin won Chorleywood Golf Club’s October monthly stableford with 38 points.
The Bennett Trophy, for high handicap entrants, was won by David Gardner, who came second with 37 points – the same as David Anderson in third.
Meanwhile, Sue Knight won the first round of the ladies’ Smurthwaite Bowl, and going into the second and final round, she leads on 44 stableford points from Laura Silverdale (42) and Jane Bowler (38).
