SOME­THING had to give as the top two in Divi­sion One put their 100 per cent records on the line in week four of the Wy­combe and Amer­sham Darts League.

Lead­ers Holmer Green Le­gion A hosted River­side Club in the bat­tle of the early sea­son pace-set­ters and it was the vis­i­tors who dom­i­nated the sin­gles ac­tion to pull away for a 10-4 win.

Even that was not enough to send River­side top, that hon­our go­ing to Penn & Tylers Green SC, who over­came hosts Ha­zle­mere CC 10-4.

Phoenix Club are up to third af­ter achiev­ing the big­gest win of the week, an 11-3 win over Winch­more Hill CC.

Divi­sion Two brought sur­prises with lead­ers Cres­sex CC ‘E’ held to a 7-7 draw by Holmer Green Le­gion ‘C’, while club­mates Cres­sex CC ‘C’ were beaten at home by Holmer Green Le­gion ‘B’.

These up­sets al­lowed Marsh Le­gion to close in on the top two thanks to their 10-4 home win over Bourne End.
