ESTHER Morley and Amy Watters lifted this year’s Gilders Cup at Oakland Park with a score of 43.
In a closely-fought competition, there was a three-way tie for second place, but a count back decided in favour of Sheila Cathrow and Tracy Lane. They scored 41, along with Judy O’Keeffe and Sue Tame in third, and Carol Fenwick and Margaret Fishley in fourth.

TWO events were held at Chorleywood Golf Club at the weekend to raise funds for SPACE, a charity that supports the parents of children who have autistic spectrum disorder.
On Saturday, the Captain’s Charity and Monthly Stableford was won by Chris Owen (42 pts) from Michael Bowler (38) and Andrew Bowler (35). On Sunday, captain John Blanchard and treasurer Paul Bayes took on and defeated all-comers in a nine-hole better ball stableford.

LITTLE HAY GC
JUNIOR Dong won the Juniors Medal at Little Hay Golf Club this week with a nett score of 52, resulting in a handicap cut from 34 to 22.
Karl Burn won Division One of the Men’s Medal with a nett 64, seven strokes ahead, while Division Two was won by Martin Evans with a nett 68, one stroke ahead of Trevor V Sargent. In the Senior’s Medal, Dennis Warren won by a point from Frank Klimaszewski and Mick Miln, while the Ladies’ Medal was won by Chris Woodcock with nett 69, and the Business Ladies Medal by Dorcas Kindinger (nett 70).
