Woman hospitalised after car crash on major road
A WOMAN is in hospital with serious head injuries following a car crash on a major Beaconsfield road.
The woman, in her 50s, was the front seat passenger of a Mercedes E 320 when it hit a red Ford Focus on the A355 at 11.20pm on Saturday November 12.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where she remains.
The driver of the Mer- cedes and the two occupants of the Ford Focus received minor injuries.
The road was closed while roads policing officers attended the scene and reopened the road by 3am on Sunday November 13.
Investigating officer PC Chris Fallon, from the joint operations unit for roads policing, based at Amersham, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision in which a woman was seriously injured or who saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.
“Anyone with any information which could assist the investigation should contact police.”
