Woman hos­pi­talised af­ter car crash on ma­jor road

A WOMAN is in hospi­tal with se­ri­ous head in­juries fol­low­ing a car crash on a ma­jor Bea­cons­field road.

The woman, in her 50s, was the front seat pas­sen­ger of a Mercedes E 320 when it hit a red Ford Fo­cus on the A355 at 11.20pm on Satur­day Novem­ber 12.

She was taken to the John Rad­cliffe Hospi­tal, Oxford, where she re­mains.

The driver of the Mer- cedes and the two oc­cu­pants of the Ford Fo­cus re­ceived mi­nor in­juries.

The road was closed while roads polic­ing of­fi­cers at­tended the scene and re­opened the road by 3am on Sun­day Novem­ber 13.

In­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cer PC Chris Fal­lon, from the joint op­er­a­tions unit for roads polic­ing, based at Amer­sham, said: “I would like to speak to any­one who saw the col­li­sion in which a woman was se­ri­ously injured or who saw the ve­hi­cles trav­el­ling prior to the col­li­sion.

“Any­one with any in­for­ma­tion which could as­sist the in­ves­ti­ga­tion should con­tact po­lice.”
