If Trump can be US President, is this the face of a future UK Prime Minister?

Will Peter Jones follow Trump’s example?

IT seems that after Donald Trump’s outsider victory in the US Elections this month, Beaconsfield’s celebrity business tycoon Peter Jones has been given food for thought.

Mr Jones was interviewed on ITV’s This Morning on Thursday of last week, when Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby goaded him into accepting that “anything’s possible”. He even revealed that many people including his wife, Tara, have been ushering him towards entering the political arena.

“I have never considered it at all... except for this week,” the telecommunications mogul revealed. “I didn’t think it would ever be something that I would be interested in doing at all.”

But after Schofield asked if it’s something that he would consider now, the Dragon’s Den star answered: “I have to say, probably yes.”

He seemed to be in two minds on the sofa, suggesting he might work best as an advisor rather than the man in charge and that he has an issue with being labelled a politician. But, with the next elections scheduled for 2020, Peter has plenty of time to make up his mind.

Would you like to see him move to 10 Downing Street?
