JELLY DOESN’T WOBBLE

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SPORT -

JUST four matches took place in week six of the Super Singles Darts League – but they were enough to produce another new leader in the standings.

Blaine Jelly regained top spot after an impressive 8-2 win over Keith Carter in action staged at the Hazlemere Club.

Paul Tubb is now his nearest pursuer after a hard-fought 6-4 success over Mark Luckett.

The real sparks of the evening were provided by Marc Dellar, pictured, who produced a 155 outshot in thrashing another of the early season frontrunners, Pat O’ Reilly, 8-2.

Dellar moves up to sixth, two places higher than John Beattie, whose 5-5 draw with Leigh Ross in the night’s other game suggested he may be running into some form after a slow start to the campaign.
