TINA Massie, land­lady of the Red Lion in Knotty Green, Beaconsfield, stepped down from the role on Jan­uary 9.

Tina (above) had been at the pub for 11 years, but had re­cently been di­ag­nosed with a form of mul­ti­ple scle­ro­sis.

A SPON­SORED out­door swim in aid of Che­sham Mu­seum was held at Che­sham Moor Gym and Swim on Jan­uary 10.

Alan Banks and wife Carol or­gan­ised the spon­sored dip, which at­tracted 21 swim­mers aged 10 to 85.

TRIBUTES were paid to broad­caster Sir Terry Wo­gan, who died aged 77.

Sir Terry, who had lived in Taplow since 1975 and was reg­u­larly in­volved in char­ity days around Buck­ing­hamshire, passed away on Jan­uary 31.
